CCC is designed to provide an in-depth overview of empathetic caregiving and support for a broad community of caregivers across Central New York. Communication, Connection and Compassion are key components in supporting, advocating for, and providing healthcare for patients. Developed through a collaboration with teaching and educational partners, CCC is designed to both support caregivers and provide an opportunity for continuing education. This course will provide practices that enable caregivers to meet people where they are and provide services to individuals within their comfort-level, understanding and wishes. In this program, empathy is taught as the basis for connection
